Just kidding. I know that if they make an exception for me, they'd have to make an exception for everyone. But still. ;__; They didn't need to be rude about it.

However! I will not be shot down this easily! Last year, many congoers flooded a local shopping center when there was nothing to do or they got hungry. And damn, that chicken wing place was good. I bet I can find a crowded off-site place to have my mini Free Hugs Day Campaign. We will not be a stifled cause!

Moving on.

I don't want to be one of those tight-wads who complains about anime fansubbers and how they sub too slow. I know, I know, they do it for free, I don't pay for it, blah blah, but whatever. But there is something more valuable than money on the line: reputation. And seriously, they don't have a good one at this point. First of all, it isn't one group, but two. Baka-Wolf and m33w are working on it together. So why the fuck does it take so fucking long?! It should go twice as fast, in fact, it should be a same-day service. I want my anime, and I want it now, damn it.

This makes me think of something else: Hikari is a fucking idiot. Kei kisses her, says all kinds of lovey-dovey stuff to her, and still she remains totally clueless. Wtf? Kei deserves better. Now I haven't read the manga in like, a million and one years, so I don't remember if it's much different. But I really think that Hikari needs to get a fucking brain.

Bleach Chapter 316

So we're finally get back on road with the "present times". Sure, that whole 'turn back the pendelum' thing was interesting, but let's face it, all the Bleach fangirls want to see at this point is some more of sexy Ulquiorra in action. :)

So this chapter starts with some random girl getting chased by some random hollow. Something catches their attention in the sky, and so when they look up they see the Gotei 13 facing Aizen's army. The captains do some thinking out loud as they try to decide which Espada looks strongest, and then Old Man Yama goes all psycho on their not so sorry asses.

Of course, the Espada stand there looking indifferent as always. Gin asks Aizen how they're going to be able to join the battle now that Yama trapped them... somewhere. I wasn't really sure what was going on, but I think it was some sort of barrier? Anyway, Aizen replied saying something along the lines of, "We are awesome and our balls won't need to be bothered with this because we will totally pwn."

Now, if you remember, Ulquiorra was left in charge of Hueco Mundo while Aizen was gone. Yeah, I know, the thirteen long weeks of flashbacks caused some memory loss, but we'll get through it. Anywho, the scene cut to Ulquiorra and Orihime in Hueco Mundo. Ulquiorra pretty much tells her that she's useless now and he's going to kill her, and asks her if she's scared. She gives some sappy crap about how since "everyone came to save me, my heart is with them."

And then the chapter ends, and we're left with some bullshit message about how there's no chapter next week. Boo. :(

Free Hug Dreams Foiled! ;__;

Something came to light on the Cosplay.com forums that I wasn't aware of. While I got a positive response about my plans for International Free Hugs Day, it seems that in the AX Code of Conduct you aren't allowed to have signs of any kind.

This is really depressing! My friends and I already made our signs. ;__; However, it mentions 'unapproved signs,' so I'm going to see if I can pull some strings and get our signs approved. We should be able to advertise our free hugs, damn it!

International Free Hugs Day at Anime Expo 2008

International Free Hugs Day is quickly approaching, and just happens to fall on the third day of Anime Expo 2008 in LA. Of course, I quickly gathered a few of my friends and we plan to attend that Saturday bearing Free Hugs signs. Be on the lookout for us, and we will be on the lookout for any other Free Hug enthusiasts.

We're unsure if we want to organize some sort of official meetup yet, with people from Cosplay.com and the AX forums, so if anyone is interested in that please let me know. We're ready to spread the love to anime and manga otakus everywhere!

Back on Neopets

So I've decided to get active on Neopets again. I'm not so sure about actually playing the game, but I'm going to try to get back together with the community.

The first thing I did when I logged in was go to the guild boards. I found a really awesome anime guild right away, called DokiDoki, and went ahead and joined. They're all really nice and I feel close to them already. The guild is only a few days old so I don't feel like I'm intruding on some sort of ancient ground. ^_^

Anyway, as I said it is an anime guild and whatnot. So I feel pretty at home. I don't really have anything else to say about it. So... yeah.

There's this website I found that's really great for making money. Pretty much you do what you would do on any free discussion forum, except you get paid for it. It's free to sign up, and all you need is a PayPal account. Just talk with the other users on any topic under the rainbow, and get money for it. This website is called MyLot.com and it really is pretty awesome.

So why am I telling you this? Obviously because I want referals so I can get more money. But also because I've been searching for so long for a site like this and I wouldn't want you to be stuck in a rut too. Hey, it might only be a few bucks, but seriously you do like NOTHING for it, so it's totally worth it. It's like a you help me, I help you kind of deal. :) Good luck with your money making!
